ZUMIX has been making waves for 25 years. And they’re about to make some new ones.
ZUMIX is an East Boston-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building community through music and the arts. They believe that music is the most powerful means of developing adolescent self-identity, and radio is one of the mediums their program uses to give a voice to the youth. I had Jeeyoon, Annie, and Andrew in studio to talk about ZUMIX, their upcoming move to the FM dial, and their Radio Block Party on Saturday, September 17.
