Seth Meyers is still getting comfortable in that “Late Night” hosting chair but at least he had on one of his “all-time favorite bands” to ease that transition last night. That “favorite band” stuff is not merely lip service, either. Last year, Meyers tapped the Brooklyn group to write the theme song for his animated Hulu series “The Awesomes.” Check out last night’s performance by the Hold Steady of its heavy-hitting new single “Spinners.”
