This week on THE SHOW Meredith Goldstein and Paul Bernon spoke with comedienne, author, and Massachusetts native Rachel Dratch.
Dratch made quite an impression on the SNL stage, with legendary characters such as the lovable pessimist Debbie Downer and the stereotypical Bostonian, Denise “Zazu” McDonough. Last year she published her first memoir, Girl Walks Into A Bar: Comedy Calamities, Dating Disasters, and a Midlife Miracle, recounting her dating horror stories and learning to navigate life as a new mother.
This week, Dratch called into THE SHOW to discuss her experience in Shakespeare In The Park, motherhood, and what movies and TV shows she’s found the time to watch.

THE SHOW is a RadioBDC podcast with the with the Globe’s Meredith Goldstein and film producer Paul Bernon. They will bring you interviews from musicians, celebrities, and local personalities.
