Akron-based blues rock duo The Black Keys went from indie hero to international superstars with its last album, “El Camino.” Now, the band is returning with its eighth studio album, “Turn Blue,” set for release next Tuesday. Along with the new record, the band now revealed its plans to trek around the country next fall, including a stop at the TD Garden on September 21 with Cage The Elephant.
Other guests along the tour include British folk rocker Jake Bugg and guitar wiz St. Vincent. The tour was announced today with a nifty faux-press conference. It won’t be long before you’re hearing “Fever” everywhere, so if you’d like to seem they bring the heat to Boston, don’t sleep when tickets go on sale next Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m.
