Boston Calling Announces Fall 2014 Lineup, its Best Yet

Boston Calling Music Festival, the city’s premiere semiannual outdoor music event, is yet to occur this spring, but already festival organizers have decided to release the fall lineup into the world. The festival, which will take place Sept. 5-7 on City Hall Plaza will feature five headliners, as opposed to the standard three that the festival usually presents. More

This past week, it was announced that Seth Meyers’ show will only feature two musical performances a week. This makes some sense, as Fallon’s show is very music heavy, and Letterman routinely freaks out over certain musical performances as well. It doesn’t make a ton of sense though, seeing as music has always been an essential part of late night television. Hopefully the show will find other ways to make up for its musical void.
