“Friends” is one of Netflix’s most anticipated additions for 2015. Reasonably so, as it’s both an iconic ’90s staple, and extremely lethal for binge watching. As indicated by its title, the show earned its reputation as a top sitcom because of its main characters. Each one of the weird and wonderful Friends has his or her own quirks that develop over the course of the show’s ten seasons. Take My Advice: Weeding Out a Bad Influence

I play third wheel a lot with two friends. They sell weed and I love smoking weed, so it works out pretty good. I get high, they get to hang with someone as cool as me. Anyways, he is a long-time friend and she has been with him for about two years…and she is bad news. She is unemployed, and sleeps, eats, or watches TV pretty much all day. She is also incredibly bossy to everyone, but especially my friend. She is an all-around bad person and a horrible influence on my friend–they do a ton of cocaine and even smoke crack! I want my friend to do better. I am super nice to her though and hang out with her all the time for free weed. He has never had a girlfriend before her, and I feel like she robbed him of relationships he would actually enjoy and benefit from. He doesn’t seem happy…but I can’t say anything, can I? More

My girlfriend and I broke up about six months ago, and haven’t really seen each other since. Recently, I’ve started hanging out more with someone we met as a couple…and my ex freaked. She sent me Facebook messages to “stay away from her friends,” and asked this mutual friend to cut me off (I know because the friend told me). I don’t see what the big deal is—even if my ex knew this person first, am I really supposed to avoid anyone she’s “claimed?” Is it fair for her to expect our mutual friends to drop me? I live in JP, so do most of these friends, and it’s already become clear that I’m GOING to see a lot of them around. Besides, my social circle isn’t so large that I want to halve it every time a relationship ends… More
