If you’ve been paying attention to Arcade Fire’s recent North American tour, you might have noticed a pattern: the band is incorporating covers into their sets (as bands tend to do), but with a local twist. For instance, their “soundclash” in L.A. earlier this summer featured the Beverly Hills Cop theme and the opening riff from “Welcome To The Jungle.” More
After just a few minutes of chatting with the classically trained Canadian singer/violinist Owen Pallett, it quickly becomes clear that the elaborate baroque pop he makes is emblematic of his passionate, creative and still very pragmatic perspective.
