If you’re looking to be a hit of your next wedding, try making a toast that’s funny and sentimental.

If you want to be even better than that, do this.

Best man Daniel Buccheri toasted his brother Adrian and new sister-in-law Sarah on March 29. The 25-year-old Melbourne-based musician wrote a song that hit all the right notes, musically and emotionally.

There were lines about childhood quibbling (“Every breath you took used to sound like this *snoring*), Adrian’s infatuation with his then-girlfriend Sarah (“It was Sarah this, and Sarah that“), and a quick jab about online dating (“Although you met on the internet, I know this love is true”), all while singing in the styles of R. Kelly, Sam Smith, Elton John, and more.

Despite keeping things mostly light-hearted, Buccheri’s sentimentality shone through and left many a wet eye in the hall.

The video has been viewed over 1,000,000 times since it was posted. Buccheri didn’t immediately reply to a request for comment, but posted an awestruck comment on his Facebook page:

“I’ve always said that all I want to do with my music is to make people feel something. To know how many people worldwide have gotten emotional and been touched by this video is a feeling so deep in my heart. We live in such a negative world where we are continually forced to hold ourselves back from achieving greatness and if I can shine a light with the gift I’ve been given, then that’s what I’m going to do.”
