Continuing our month-long series spotlighting videos we hope will inspire you think.
Last week, you met James Burrows, the autistic teen from Maryland whose music inspired singer-songwriter Emma Ballantine to share his story. It was a fitting start to this series, as April is Autism Awareness Month.
Now, we turn our focus to the ongoing, international refugee crisis. Parisi are two brothers who have been making music in some way, shape, or form since their early days growing up in Italy. You know RZA: he’s the prime mover in the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. The two have teamed up to create “No Refuge.”
From their Facebook page: “You help the lives of refugees every time you watch the video, stream the song on Apple Music, Spotify and Beats 1, or download from iTunes.”
The visuals are stunning, the lyrics are moving. And showing support for people displaced from their homes has arguably never been more important. All proceeds go to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
