I can’t help but take this song/music video with a grain of salt. If I don’t, I’ll be obliged to call the lyrics clichéd (yeah! those bastards! rock and roll!) and the video old-fashioned (shots of instruments being played, words flying across the screen, you know). But when taken with a grain of salt, “Too Much Art” seems ironic and becomes a semi-clever takedown of your typical anti-mainstream “rock and roll” bands. J/Q have a pretty solid sound, but their true intent could make you fairly appreciate them or just plain dislike them.
