Fuzzy, punchy and snotty Jericho Pistol’s “Black, Gold, Denim & Chrome” has all the hallmarks of a self recorded bedroom rocker but enough attitude to make it stand out from all the other lonely kids at Bandcamp. If we can be really, really precise this reminds me of the Newbury Comics  dollar bin circa 1995, back when it was brimming with records copping Sebadoh licks and Swirlies vibes.  Clearly indebted to Clinton-era slacker-rage,  Jericho Pistol do the quiet/loud, angsty/indifferent dichotomies  well.
