The Music Video Roundup brings you a handful of the most memorable videos to hit the web. This week features videos from Phoenix, Kitten, and Charli XCX.

Catch up on last week’s Music Video Roundup here.

I have come to expect nothing short of a neon, glitter dance party from Charli XCX, but it seems she took a more reserved approach with the new video for “Superlove (Yeasayer Remix)”. Less colorful than the original video, the spotlight is focused only on Charli, in this simple and minimal video.

One of the perks of being married to director Sofia Coppola, is you can convince her to direct your music video. Phoenix enlisted Coppola’s help for the slow-motion, black and white performance piece. Catch the video for “Chloroform” over at PopRally.

Anyone who saw Kitten open for Charli XCX this week, might agree that Chloe Chaidez is one of the most electric frontwomen performing right now. From climbing onto the shoulders’ of an audience member to swinging from the rafters of The Sinclair, the charismatic singer draws comparisons of old-school Madonna. The new video for “Like a Stranger” is mild in comparison to their on-stage antics, but is still perfectly sexy and bold.
