This week the Haim sisters won the internet with the video for “If I Could Change Your Mind”. Bands take note; this is what music videos should be. By combining R&B inspired choreography and a retro backdrop, the band creates mesmerizing Soul Train meets Charlie’s Angels vibe.

I imagine that “Midnight” is an example of what would happen if Coldplay took acid at Bon Iver’s cabin in the woods and then decided to get artsy.

After a mellow start, Kate Nash launches straight into her signature pop-rock sound in her new video for “Sister.” The second single off last year’s “Girl Talk” blends Kate’s smooth melodies with feelings of heartbreak and bittersweet honesty.

Local group Magic Man really went all out for their first music video, as the visuals of “Paris” straddle the line between reality and fantasy. 2014 is set to be a busy year for the group who have a spot in the Boston Calling lineup and have recently announced a US tour with Panic at the Disco and Walk The Moon.
