Tucked away amongst the bustling intellectual hub that is Harvard Square, one would never know a restaurant exists underground. A short walk downstairs and you’re immediately taken down into a vibrant new dimension.
You’ll enter a warm, wildly colored interior filled with taps, tapestries, and like, positive energy, man. If Alice went down the rabbit hole and ended up somewhere between LA and India, the Beat Hotel would be a great place to film the movie. With such an eclectic vibe, great libations and live music, I had to sit down with the owner Jack Bardy and hear more about this sick ‘Beat’ – Taylor Swift reference anyone…yes? no?
