Kevin Garnett is known for his illustrious NBA career, which spans 20 years and includes 15 All-Star Games, an MVP award, and a championship with the Celtics in 2008. Montell Jordan is known for his 1995 hit “This Is How We Do It.”

KG made his grand return to Minnesota last night, suiting up for the Timberwolves for the first time since 2007. The crowd was overjoyed to see him, to say the least.

The celebration didn’t just stop with a tribute video. The Target Center also welcomed Montell Jordan. You may be asking yourself, why Montell Jordan? Minnesota’s answer: why the hell not?

Jordan, who originally did the theme to NBA Live 2001, which also featured Garnett on the cover, did a halftime performance that included his ’90s staple, “This Is How We Do It.”

It was a bit of a strange addition, but didn’t take away from the fact that the Big Ticket is being welcomed back with open arms in Minnesota, even if he’s gotten a bit crazy(er) in his old age. The acquisition seems to be paying off too, as the T-Wolves trounced the Wizards last night 97-77. Clearly, Garnett already feels comfortable back in his old stomping grounds

Now, to keep the streak alive, we’re hoping to see Sisqo drop by the Target Center for Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
