Well, that didn’t take long.
Less than 24 hours after his two Grammy wins for “I,” the lead single from his as-yet-untitled sophomore album, Compton-born rapper Kendrick Lamar is back on the scene––and back in his wheelhouse––with a new single, “The Blacker The Berry.”
No stranger to controversy stemming from current events, he takes aim at Ferguson, police, the inner city, and even himself.
There’s still no word on the release of his second album, but, if the CEO of Kendrick’s imprint, Top Dawg Entertainment, is to be believed, it could be here sooner than later.
