Since 1999, Jon Stewart has been at the helm of the The Daily Show. Since then, he’s evolved from pretty well-known comedic actor to media icon.
In honor of his Daily Show era coming to an end, YouTube user Billy Chasen stitched together this time-lapse video, celebrating Stewart’s evolution from fresh-faced disruptor to full-on cultural force.
Stewart’s final episode will air on August 6. Then, it’s Trevor Noah’s turn.
