Everyone and their mother has an opinion about Deflategate, the latest Patriots scandal to take the sports world by storm. Sports columnists are firing away hot takes with impunity, former NFL players are sanctimoniously tut-tutting Coach Belichick from on high, and one of America’s biggest companies is poking fun at the Pats. Now, even Vice President Joe Biden has a take.
The Vice President was on CBS This Morning to talk about topics that actually matter, like foreign policy and last night’s State of the Union address. But forget all that, what does Joe Biden think about Deflategate, the hard-hitting news Americans really care about?
“Well I’ll tell you what. Having been a receiver I like a softer ball. That’s all I can tell you.”
Well there you have it, folks. The most powerful man in the world’s understudy has the definitive word on Deflategate. Well maybe not the definitive word. For that, we’ll have to hear from an actual Indianapolis Colts player.
