As New England’s endless winter continues, Bostonians have been universally afflicted by a serious case of cabin fever. We’ve done everything we can to get outside — even if it means jumping out of windows and off rooftops.

Earlier this week, Jimmy Fallon eloquently said what all Bostonians were thinking when Washington, D.C. complained about four inches of snow and last night, we were once again the punchline of his joke.

During Fallon’s opening monologue last night, he referenced Mayor Marty Walsh’s statement asking locals to stop jumping into piles of snow. You would think that would be common sense but Boston is a city of bored college students and twentysomethings who think they’re invincible. Fallon himself also advised against it, “no matter how fun it looks,” and then proceeded to show a snowbank-diving montage that makes it look way too fun to not try.

There’s this guy who did a flip.

That does NOT look like a smooth landing.

Then there’s this thermally-challenged fellow.

Nice boxers, bro.

Maybe we can make roof-jumping a new Olympic sport if Boston wins the bid for 2024.
