Connecticut psych-pop superstars MGMT delivered on the promise of a solid rock show and a visual freakout with its set at the Orpheum Thursday night. The show blended its ultra-catchy hits with some less conventional deep cuts and plenty of strangely hypnotic projections, courtesy of visual artist Alejandro Crawford. Kuroma, who shares multiple members with the MGMT touring band, provided support.
