Over 25,000 individuals and 200 groups showed up to march the 44th annual Boston Pride Parade yesterday in downtown Boston. Led by Governor Deval Patrick and Mayor Marty Walsh, the parade was the perfect way to cap off Pride Week, which attracted and involved countless supporters of LGBT rights and celebrated freedom of identity and individuality. In addition to encouraging a good cause, the parade itself was vibrant, attracting attendees of all ages, and engaging all with spirit and positivity. Here’s a bit of what we saw:
