“Friends” and “Episodes” star and all around goofy guy Matt LeBlanc appeared on “Conan” last night and ended up discussing some of the slang from his hometown of Newton.
Conan O’Brien, who is from neighboring town Brookline, seemed to have no clue what LeBlanc was talking about. But the man known as Joey to most shows that Nonantum, one of the villages of Newton, has its own special dialect. For example, calling a fellow Newtonite a “mush” is a term of endearment, similar to “dude” or “guy.” LeBlanc expands and Conan is fascinated. Watch and learn.
