The last time Dave Grohl’s name was linked to Fenway Park it was as part of Jack White’s “rant” late last summer. Now it looks like Mr. Grohl will be there in more than just name.

Here’s the link to the application. So far, the Foo have two Sonic Highways tour dates scheduled for 2015: Their 20th Anniversary show in DC on the Fourth of July and a gig at Wrigley Field in Chicago in late August. It looks to me like a summertime tour of the States is taking shape. And that the Boston stop could very well be a performance or two at Fenway Park in August.
