All eyes turn to Copper Mountain this week for the first stop of the Toyota US Grand Prix Tour.
This action-packed week will feature the world’s most elite skiers and snowboarders, who will both compete in halfpipe, and the snowboarders will also compete in big air. With a ton of fresh snow falling at Copper Mountain over the last week, the 22-foot Main Vein Superpipe is open and ready for action from some of the top skiers in the world. Watch for competitive performances from Olympic gold medalists David Wise (Reno, NV) and Maddie Bowman (South Lake Tahoe, CA). Also keep an eye on halfpipe team members Devin Logan (West Dover, VT), and, of course, Gus Kenworthy (Telluride, CO), who is fresh off a win in the Team Challenge at the Winter Dew Tour.
It’s Rails 2 Riches time! The East Coast’s premier rail jam is back! Competitors will drop in on an exclusive, custom built rail venue in an attempt to snag a piece of the $25,000 cash purse. Those who have what it takes to impress the judges will walk away with ultimate bragging rights for the season. Come watch the action unfold as top athletes battle it out under the lights.
