The world has been holding out for a Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears world tour since we were all in our mother’s womb. Last night, we finally got a little sample of what that might look like on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
Aguilera and Spears have known each other since the ’90s when they were both Mouseketeers on The Mickey Mouse Club and Aguilera showed Fallon just how far back they went when she channeled the “Baby, One More Time” singer.
The Voice coach and Fallon indulged in “Wheel of Musical Impressions” in which they took turns impersonating a musical celebrity singing a randomly chosen song.
When it came for Aguilera to imitate Spears, the results were uncanny. Let’s all be grateful that her voice isn’t trapped like a “Genie in a Bottle.”
The world is ready to be pitch-slapped with some pop domination.
