Turns out William Shatner listens to RadioBDC.
It all started innocently enough, as I was fielding requests for the Free-For-All last Wednesday.
@RadioBDC @adamxii Earlier @kramerjulie played "Common People"…can you dig up the @WilliamShatner version? That's the one I prefer!
— Sam Fiorani (@SamFiorani) December 7, 2016
The thing is, I didn’t have the song. I let Sam know that. Then, this pops up in my feed.
😳@adamxii Well??? Do you have my song?

Seven minutes later…
.@adamxii One Adam-12, one Adam-12, see the Shatner and answer his question…
— William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) December 7, 2016
So now I had to reply.
10-4, this is 1 Adam-12. Song has been apprehended & will be broadcast on @RadioBDC at approximately 1600 hours on 8 Dec. 2016. Over & out. https://t.co/l7JaiOAPiV

Did I get a reply back? As sure as Khan put creatures in peoples ears, you bet I did.
One Adam-1, 10-4! You KNOW I'm going to tune in to make sure. Shatner clear! https://t.co/3bmZnwVzn2

So the Thursday Free-For-All started with Mr. Shatner’s version of Pulp’s “Common People.”
1-Adam-12, reminding @WilliamShatner to tune into @RadioBDC at https://t.co/mFwZ5Ru824. "Common People" plays in 20 minutes. Over & out. https://t.co/jLwcRAS5px
— Adam 12 (@adamxii) December 8, 2016
And Mr. Shatner was kind enough to tune in.
OK @adamxii I'm tuned in…

So make sure you’re listening to the Free-For-All weekdays from 4-6 p.m. You never know who else might be listening, too.
I am! ❤️❤️❤️❤️👌🏻 https://t.co/dp5F7WBYGb
