Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, the calloused Brooklyn rapper who first exploded into my headphones on El-P’s “Cancer 4 Cure” is back with a pair of his most off-kilter tours into rap excess. Released through his weekly Bootleg Liquor on a Sunday Night freestyle series, “Jersey bka Pussy like Crack” and “Conversations with God” are both produced by Mr. Len. Brought to our attention courtesy of Nah Right, the two songs are double the usual weekly installment, which is what makes them worth showcasing despite the fact that they’re only available for stream and not download.
Also, this is a great opportunity for aspiring hip-hop heads to get familiar with one of the most out-there talents in the underground rap scene. eXquire is vulgar, a bit nonsensical, but fun as fuck to listen to. His flow can go from caustic to depravedly reflective in the turn of a bar, so Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire is one of the best examples of the paranoia-laced raps leaking out of Brooklyn’s industrial decay.
