At this point it should come as no surprise that Boston buddies Ben Affleck and Matt Damon spent the Super Bowl partying together.

The duo was last seen taking sole responsibility for DeflateGate on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and last night they posted a celebratory photo that is so chock-full of Boston it almost hurts.

First you’ve got Ben and Matt, showing their love for the Pats. Then you’ve got the Boston Sports Guy, Bill Simmons, who was also featured in Kimmel’s Locker Room Guy video. Then there’s the fact that the photo was posted by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and features frontman Dicky Barrett (who is also the announcer for Jimmy Kimmel Live and appeared in the video as well). With all due respect to Aerosmith and Dropkick Murphys, it’s hard to be more Boston of a band than the Bosstones, who put the city right in their damn name.

The only thing keeping this photo from hitting peak Boston is Pardon The Interruption‘s Tony Kornheiser looking glum in the background for some reason. If only he’d subbed out and let frequent PTI guest host Bob Ryan step in, this would have been perfect. Ah well, there’s always next year.
