Jim Russell and his wife, Elinor, have never been much for big celebrations. But with the help of his family, Jim decided to make the 57th anniversary special.

Russell’s granddaughter tweeted out photos of Jim arriving to Elinor’s hospital with flowers and chocolate wearing the tux he donned when they ballroom danced.
“My kids decided it would be great to do something special for my bride, so I went along with it,” Jim told ABC News.
The moment brought back great memories for Elinor.
“Being in a hospital bed, you get bored,” she told ABC News. “So when they came in, it made me smile like the younger days when we were dancing.”
