English actor James Corden isn’t a big name in the U.S. yet. But as the new host of The Late Late Show on CBS (replacing Craig Ferguson), Corden should be a household name soon, especially if he keeps bringing Tom Hanks back to reenact scenes from his movies.
Corden teamed up with Hanks to do a six-minute minute sprint through the Oscar winner’s filmography, even hitting both of Tom’s questionable Boston accents from Catch Me if You Can and Captain Phillips.
From the boardwalks of Big…
…to the nighttime views in Sleepless in Seattle
From the beaches of Cast Away…
…to the artful Paris cityscape in The Da Vinci Code
Pretty impressive stuff, though we would have gladly watched another three minutes to see hidden gems of the ’80s like Bosom Buddies and The Man With One Red Shoe.
