Last Saturday, Somervillians shared their unrequited love of playing and listening to music from an often overlooked public venue: The Porch. In its fourth installment, Somerville’s decentralized music festival, PorchFest, hosted a slew of Boston-based bands — ranging from bollywood funk, cosmic americana, killer blues, Moroccan, Balkan, gospel, American space rock and clawhammer banjo — as they strummed, plucked, and drummed from the comfort of their neighboring porches.
