Tom Petty left a pretty decent hint on his Facebook page today that either he will be attending a Red Sox game in the near future or that he and The Heartbreakers will be playing Fenway. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame-inducted songwriter has made the amphitheater circuit in years past, but has yet to play Friendly Fenway, a venue that will also host Billy Joel and Zac Brown Band this summer. A tour announcement hasn’t been made yet, but other hints on the rocker’s Facebook page hint that it is on the way as well. Wouldn’t be a bad way to spend a summer night, but can we please request a reenactment of Bullpen Cop during “Free Falling”?
