We kicked off the Drafters 2016 season at Cannon Mountain and couldn’t possibly have had more fun.
Let’s start at the end, with a gallery from our amazing après-ski party at Cannonball Pub. Huge thanks, as always, to Coors Light, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Kind Snacks (who were sampling), The North Face (who gave away a $150 gift card), Elan and Ski Haus (who teamed up for our grand prize: a brand new pair of Elan Skis).
On a personal note, I was able to take advantage of Cannon’s Rental Shop and get out on the mountain for the first time this season. The cloud cover made the mountain views even more dramatic, and the wind lines on freshly-frozen Echo Lake were quite unique. I snapped a few pics, but you should probably head up to Cannon Mountain this weekend and take a look for yourself.
