Taylor Swift has been having better weekends than you for years and will continue to have better weekends than you for years to come, but this one was one for the books. While you wait for the snow in your flats to melt, here’s a look at how the American dream works.

Friday: Taylor releases sexy new video for “Style.”

The third video released as a part of promotion for the now-platinum 1989, Taylor takes off the tiara and gets steamy in this one with a man who can’t seem to keep his shirt on. Been there.TSiwokeuplikethis

Is it about Harry Styles? Is it not? Who cares, she looks perfect.

Saturday: Taylor plays “Shake It Off” with Paul McCartney at an #SNL40 afterparty and makes her friends personalized cards.

If you look closely at these cards, all handmade by Taylor herself, most of them feature her lyrics. Is it promotion or friendship? At this point, Taylor’s best friend persona is what sells, so it doesn’t really matter.

Then…Valentines Day, who? Taylor demands nothing short of an OG member of The Beatles to cap off her night. And don’t worry, she’s not about to play one of his songs, the two jam to “Shake It Off.” In typical Taylor fashion, she can’t figure out how to post the video rotated the correct way, captioning “Of course the coolest moment of my life happens and I can’t figure out how to flip the video the right way.”

She gets the hang of it, though, and you can see the correctly positioned video here. Oh hey, Jimmy Fallon!

Sunday: Taylor agrees to be her friend’s maid of honor.

In addition to millions of strangers, Taylor Swift’s friends from home are just as obsessed with her as anyone. Old friend Britt Mack asked Taylor to be her maid of honor and attached a photo of the tow snuggling as kids, and Taylor happily accepted via Instagram post and, if we’re guessing correctly, a very teary phone call.

Did she rest on Presidents Day? Possibly, but if this snapshot from 2012 is any indication…
