It was wonderful to have Chef/Owner Chris Coombs of Deuxave back in studio this morning. He brought along Deuxave’s new pastry chef, Shaun Velez. And Shaun brought along some deliciously sweet Valentine’s Day creations. More
Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” recently claimed “Song of the Year” at the 2015 Grammys, and since misery loves company, what better song to remind how tragically alone we are today on Valentine’s Day. If you have a significant other to celebrate this Hallmark holiday, then maybe you should be listening to “Blank Space” or something. This year, Valentine’s Day isn’t just a day to send each other horrible greeting cards and eat candy that tastes like pulverized chalk. It’s also the tenth anniversary of the founding of YouTube. More
After an enticing build-up, the film version of E. L. James’s Fifty Shades of Grey has finally arrived. The entire franchise may not necessarily be a stroke of literary genius — it is basically Twilight fan fiction, after all — but it didn’t deter millions of hormone-addled fans from reading every sentence. That’s right, #sexyvideogames is a thing right now.
It started last night on the Comedy Central show “@midnight,” in which comedian contestants were asked to come up with videogame title spoofs with sexy spins. Here is the clip from the show, as well as some Twitter examples. Believe us, these are some of the cleaner ones.
This is not a cheesy, Top 40, bubblegum list of songs. This is a list of some of my favorite love songs. I put them on my honey’s mix CD; you can do the same. More
