Fictional news reporter and future Emerson lecturer Ron Burgundy, star of “Anchorman” and the upcoming “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” stopped by “Conan” to sing embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s campaign song. Actually, it was just a rendition of Loverboy’s 1981 hit “Working for the Weekend,” but that’s what makes it awesome. Donning a brown turtleneck, a vest, a classy leather blazer, and his trademark ‘stache, Burgundy pours his heart into the Canadian band’s hit, all in support of Mayor Ford, who could probably use all the help, celebrity or otherwise, he can get right now.
