“I hope you hear this on the radio, I hope the lyrics get stuck in your head until you start repeating them” croons Californian Chase Aaron, until I obviously have no choice but to submit. “Radio” is a catchy song over slick beats, minimal and uncomplicated. In a summer full of sugary pop songs with guest rap verses, it’s a welcome aversion to have some back to basics R&B tunes. Put this on your headphones late at night after a Sam Smith tune and you’ll probably be vibing along. I’m all about some lyrics full of heartbreak over another Iggy Azalea guest vocal on the radio, anyway.
