Bad Religion. I can tell this Worcester punk trio listened to a lot of Bad Religion going into recording “Crabwalk into Your Heart.” Though hearing California (I got an early AFI vibe, too) channeled through Bay State second city riffs was a bit odd, Bernie’s Garage drummed up enough nostalgia to make the three-song ride enjoyable. It’s a light, mostly tame ride, but punk is probably dead anyway (see: Bad Religion, AFI), so I’ll take the garage grime any time you’ve got it.
