Yes, a lot of music blogs have written about how PEARL JAM COVERED THAT SONG FROM THAT DISNEY MOVIE!!! But they didn’t actually “cover” it, per se.
Pearl Jam superfans know the band is famous for tagging the end of their song “Daughter” with various song snippets–from oldies to classic rock to pop–depending on the mood of front man Eddie Vedder. Truly, the band was performing mashups live long before the sub-genre was en vogue. So it’s really no surprise, considering the omnipotence of “Let It Go,” that Ed Ved belted out a few lines over the coda of “Daugter” in Milan over the weekend.
