A sex ed teacher asked her students to write down their questions about sex. The results are amazing.

Ninth graders are confused about sex, and a teacher has their anonymously-written questions to prove it.

The teacher, who goes by iheartdna on Reddit, posted a sampling of three years’ worth of questions written by her students. It’s since received thousands of comments and views on Reddit and Imgur.

Though she’s taught in two public schools as far away from each other as Virginia and California, confusion proves to lack borders.

Questions included period concerns and the ever-elusive “quife” phenomenon. 

What happens during childbirth proved to be equally mysterious. Also…green stuff?

Proving that wisdom is ageless, students wondered why pubic hair had to exist.

One student asked a “butt” question that only Sir Mix-a-Lot has the expertise to answer.

Rumor has it green Post-it chick will have a recurring role on the next season of Girls.

And teenaged boys are just as obsessed with their penises as we thought.

We’re just glad we’re not the ones who have to answer these questions.
