One pet store replaced its animals for sale with animals from a shelter.
Quatro Patinhas NGO — an organization that aims to save animals at risk — teamed up with the store to raise awareness about adopted pets.
As the video highlights, animals can die of disease and maltreatment in shelters. They also die from depression.
Christianne Duarte Garoiu, president and founder of Quatro Patinhas NGO, said many shelter pets would bring the same amount of love to a family. They’d also be free.
