A curious looking can appeared on Twitter today that would make any Rhode Island drinker shed tears of joy. The photo depicts a new offering from Providence-based brewery Narragansett which seems to incorporate Rhode Island’s famous Del’s lemonade. The half-beer-half-lemonade beverage, referred to as a shandy, is delicious as is, but a million times more exciting when these two companies are involved. Assuming the picture above, taken by Twitter user @PeteMFBoyd is the real deal, we could be in for quite the tasty summer. Thanks neighbors!
There is no official word yet from the Narragansett Brewing Company as to if and when this product will be released, but in the meantime, this looks like something we can cross our fingers for.
