In November 2013, 5-year-old Miles Scott lived out a dream: He got to be BatKid.
Scott was diagnosed with leukemia, and made his wish because Batman is his favorite superhero.
The Make-a-Wish foundation then turned San Francisco into Gotham City.
From saving a damsel-in-distress to putting away bad guys, BatKid accomplished a lot in one day.
Miles’ journey is becoming a documentary, and will be shown in select theaters on June 26. Here’s a first look.
Miles has been in remission as of November.
