A new “Lamb Jam Master” has been crowned, and she calls the city of Boston home.

Many people know Tiffani Faison as a contestant from the first season of Top Chef. She’s also made a delicious name for herself with her Fenway restaurant Sweet Cheeks Q. (Her second restaurant, Tiger Mama, is set to open this fall.) And the chef now has a brand new accolade–and title–to add to her culinary repertoire.

On Monday, Faison participated in the final round of the American Lamb Board’s Global Flavors Lamb Jam Tour and proved victorious over four other semi-finalists. It was Faison’s Spicy Chengdu Lamb that resulted in her coronation as the “Lamb Jam Master” at the James Beard House in New York City.

Be still our taste buds.

Faison’s winning creation is made up of a smoked and braised lamb shoulder with shumai, vinegar, and chili oil. This same dish won “Best in Show” and “Best Asian” back in April during the Boston round of the Lamb Jam event.

Needless to say, Faison went (…wait for it…) hog wild about the win.
