Newton commercial craft brewer Hopsters announced today that, for one day only, they will be filling their brew kettles with a seafood feast.

The Inaugural Lobstah Boil and Brew Fest, as it is being branded since, hey, that’s how da lobstahmen talk, will take place on Sunday, August 3, at the brewer’s Newton location from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets for the festival are $65 and include two microbrews, a 1.5 lb lobster, steamers, and sides. The included beer will be a specialty ale that Hopsters is slapping together just for the occasion, so it should pair well with the seafood fare.

We’ve partied at Hopsters before, and it’s a damn good time, so add in a boil of New England’s favorite crustacean going off every two hours, and you’ve got a summer throwdown not to be missed. Despite the fact that it’s insipidly marketed with that local drawal (can we please have a moratorium on advertisers and marketers leaning on the Boston accent?), the Lobstah Boil and Brew Fest will be worth the chunk of change it commands.

I mean, it’s beer and lobster, after all, what more do you really need?
