The concept for The Black Keys‘ new clip for “Fever” is quite entertaining. Dan Auerbach plays the televangelist, working a crowd of holy-rollers comprised mostly of stock video footage. Dan preaches, the song plays, and a phone number is displayed over a scroll of recent “donors” (mind the names; some are quite funny and a bit ribald). Naturally, I had to call the number. Here’s what I heard.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the band has pulled a phone stunt.
