Every Sunday until the end of October, New England Open Markets hosts the “SoWa Open Market,” a three-block assortment of art vendors, food trucks, and farmers market finds set up along the South End’s Harrison Ave. But sandwiched in the middle of all this Sunday morning buzz is the oh-so-curious SoWa Vintage Market, which attendees, even regulars, don’t know is open Sundays year round.
Inside the SoWa Vintage Market, vendors set up displays of the most peculiar of items, each of which they have collected over the years at flea markets and tax sales. In the spirit of October, we made it our mission to find some of the creepiest stuff for sale at SoWa Vintage Market, and catch up with those who are selling it.
