This past weekend, fans of all kinds showed up to the Seaport World Trade Center, many in their sartorial splendor, to celebrate Boston Comic Con 2014. Throughout the course of the event, which featured Sean Astin, Jason Momoa of “Game of Thrones,” and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels among many more special guests, one of the best parts was catching a glimpse of our city’s cosplayers (the art of building elaborate costumes to represent specific characters, for those who aren’t familiar with the term). We were able to catch up with the creators of some of our favorite costumes and gain a dose of their inspiration behind them.
