California acoustic newgrass trio Nickel Creek is on the road for the first time since 2007, touring behind a new album, “A Dotted Line.” The band, featuring master mandolinist Chris Thile, and siblings Sara and Sean Watkins, stopped at House of Blues last night and tore through a set of old jams, new material, and plenty of solos.
