Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade went off without a hitch, despite rainy weather. This year’s parade was an historic one, as two gay rights groups marched for the first time: OutVets, a veterans service group, and Boston Pride. The groups joined several other Irish heritage and veterans groups in a celebratory march throughout South Boston. Other faces included Congressman Seth Moulton, who walked with OutVets, and former candidate for lieutenant governor Steve Kerrigan and his partner Jacob, walking with Boston Pride. We captured some of the scenes of equality from Sunday’s event.
